last night’s show and then some…..
Last night’s show dredged up knowledge that I had forgotten I knew! It also made me a little sad that the very things that I loved in school have fallen by the wayside. Long ago I had wanted to become an anthropologist/archeologist when I grew up. Unfortunately, life got in the way.
The talk of the ancient civilizations really made me aware of how little I use the knowledge and information that I have acquired over the years.
Now all I use is the useless info that is great for the “game show” that I work every day.
I love guests like last night’s. Whether you agree or not it is something to really ponder in those down times during the day. And the scenarios that you can let your imagination run with can lead to some really fantastic places!
Enough philosophizing!
No kittens yet! I wish that Lucy would just have them already. Taking her in for a prenatal appointment in the morning, because I really have no idea when she will be popping them out. For those who don’t know, I rescued her a week ago. I had been seeing and feeding her on the front porch a month ago, then she disappeared for a couple weeks. Some terrible humans had owned her, when they decided to move. Rather than take her to a shelter, and we have 3 great shelters in the area, they just abandoned her to her own devices. She became preggers and I started to feed her. Should have taken her in immediately, but I wasn’t completely sure that she was homeless. The two weeks that she was gone from my porch, I discovered that a family had taken her in until they found out she was preggers, so they booted her out too! Unbelievable to me that humans can be so cruel to animals. If you don’t or can’t keep them, take them to somewhere safe. Don’t you agree?
So the upshot is…..I’m expecting a litter.
“Kittens for free to a good home” any takers?
