Today we got together for one last hurrah
…ate up some leftovers
..and went to the beach

I’ve said it before, but it was great meeting this part of my family, they are all great people
I finally got a group pic….it isn’t of everybody, but its all of us that went to the beach.
(special thanks to the nice lady that volunteered to take our picture!)

I guess this is the official LAST DAY for my little trip, I drive home tomorrow.
It will take me about 12 hours, so be praying that I make it home safe! :)

Today was a great day, I was able to spend time with family I was just meeting and they are all great people!
We had a cookout and even cooked crabs!
(we are from MD so they were cooked RIGHT)
AND even though I have developed this shellfish allergy over the last few years, I grabbed one of my moms Epi-Pens and ate a little anyway
(I didn’t need to use it, I didn’t eat much…didn’t want to risk it)

Afterward I went with some of my cousins to the beach, one of my cousins wanted to get a piercing…
the little flappy thing inside her ear…I don’t know whats it’s called
(she screamed)
Then we walked along the main street at Myrtle to check out the stores
…for the record, NOWHERE has public bathrooms…unless you buy something!!

Tomorrow we are going to go to the beach again before they all have to go back to Savannah GA

I said I was going to post a pic of everybody…but I didn’t get one….
I did however steal a pic off of someone else’s camera because I thought you would all enjoy it :)

This is me with my pregnant cousin Ashley….compairing bellies :)

Today was a fun day,
a lot of my family came in today for tomorrow’s reunion.
It was nice meeting them all, It’s a shame that I have never met this part of my family until now.

We all went out for the evening, my cousins are a fun bunch!
I’ll get a picture of everyone for tomorrow…I’m way too tired to try to find one now :)

Today I was unfortunate enough to wake up early so that I could move furniture so that the carpet cleaners could….well, clean the carpets…my bed being the couch made it difficult to return to my slumber after the ordeal.

Today we also started cooking for Family Reunion #2 which happenes Saturday. Ive actually never met most of this side of my family, so I’m pretty excited about it!

ALSO we got all my brothers stuff moved into his new apartment….thought it was going to be put off for the whole week HAHA

I forgot to mention yesterday….so I’ll do it now
One of my best friends Clint and his wife had their baby, Lauren Shay, yesterday. 6lbs 19 inches :)
You have heard Clint before, our opening song for the show was written and performed by him…
he is also one of my band mates and drummer for “West Finley”

Send all your positive thoughts a needed prayers to them, new babies can be pretty life changing :)

I finally found my way to the beach today!!!
I had my doubts that I’d ever make HAHA

This is my little brother and little niece playing in the sand :)

I guess I picked a bad week to get my tattoo redone…I couldn’t go and play in the water, and had to keep my hand hidden from the sun…but Whatev…
It was great seeing my niece have soo much fun!

We were supposed to help my older brother unpack his moving truck at his new apartment, but that never happened, I guess that will be added onto tomorrow’s adventures

Traveling Diary #7

Today we had a great show. I really wish I had been in the studio for this one, there is soo much that feels lost when you are over the phone. I shut myself away in my brother’s room at the far end of the house…hoping my niece wouldn’t run up and down the hall playing with the dog. It sure beats sitting in a bathroom at a hospital in Columbus HAHA (Well that almost happened…thankfully I made it to the hotel room in time)

Our firsts guest was an EVP specialist. He had some interesting stuff to talk about….its kinda funny that I don’t think he realized that I was one of the hosts of the show…me being over the phone and joking with Nick and Lola at the beginning. He had an interesting take on EVP, He would start singing a song and leave out part…and see if the “spirit” would finish it. I’d like to try that out.

Our second guest was very interesting. I had never heard of ULO’s so this was a whole new aspect of the paranormal that I was learning about. After seeing the pictures that he has of the moon surface, I am pretty confused as to why I haven’t heard of this all before. Some of those pictures were pretty amazing! It is definately worth chiecking out his book….its an easy read…..and by easy read I mean that there is barely any words…mostly pictures :)
My favorite Kinds of book HAHA

I’m hoping to get out to the beach tomorrow….I’ve been here for a while and still have only just driven by the darn thing…keep your fingers crossed friends

“That’s one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind”

Today I took a trip through the stores in North Myrtle.. bought me a new pair of flip-flops :)

There is an awesome antique store here….it is HUGE and full of big statues. When I hit the lottery I want to buy all the Pirate statues and surround my new big carribean themed pool…..one day

While in my days adventures I happened on a sign on the side of the road…it made me laugh quite a bit….I am thinking about moving the sign out in front of my apartment or putting up one of my own that has the last half of this one HAHA

Hay any little bit helps…..I should start advertising :)

Today I was pretty lazy….
I slept most of the day, and played with my niece the rest.
I did, however, participate in a wonderful tea party hosted by the cutest darn 3 year old any of you have ever met :)

We are going to have a fun show on Tuesday,
one of our guests will be talking about the moon landing and alien presence
…this of coarse is in honor of the anniversary of the moon landing!

Our other guest is an EVP specialist….this is one area of the paranormal that I’ve always found fascinating. Some people want to hear something in their recording sooo bad that what they really have is…crap. Then sometimes I’m completely awestruck at what I’m hearing….Always an adventure

Family reunion number one has now come and gone. I havent spent time with this part of my family for a handful of years.
It was really good reminiscing with everyone.
A good cookout is never a bad thing either!!

Afterward, we played some boardgames….family game nights are great…all you parents out there need to incorporate that into your schedule.

I’m not sure yet what’s in store for tomorrow….But I’ll have my camera ready in case I find something good to dig into :)

Everyone needs to email Lola and get on her case for not blogging :p
