Show Notes: August 10, 2010 Jane Miller and David Elliott

Tonight on Whispers we welcome Jane Miller and David Elliott.

Jane Miller, a Licensed Independent Social Worker, committed to wholistic modalities of healing is in practice as a psychotherapist/clinical social worker with her animal‐assisted therapy (AAT) dogs. She offers education about and client assessments for Psychiatric Service Dogs (PSDs). Her new book, Healing Companions, explores the healing power of these extraordinary dogs and how they can transform lives.

Born and raised on a farm in Kentucky, David Elliott moved to Miami in 1986 to pursue an acting career. He then ventured to Los Angeles, acting in films, television shows, and commercials throughout the 1980s and early ’90s. After a meeting with renowned mystic healer Tim Heath, Elliott connected the dots of many chance meetings with strangers from the past several months—people claiming they had been sent to him for “healing” by their guru in India, or their psychic in New York. David Elliott learned to recognize his unique ability to feel, move, and manipulate energy; the healing work got easier, and the “reluctant” phase of his life dissipated. By 1997, his acting career had ended and he was seeing more than twenty clients a week. As David recalls, “The Universe obviously had a plan for me, so I decided to get out of the way and do the healing work.” David has had a successful healing practice in Los Angeles for the past 15 years.
